7th House Reading Worksheet
Complete the chart facts first, then move from evidence to synthesis.
How to use the template
Separate chart evidence from interpretation
Begin with facts that another reader could verify: the exact Ascendant and Descendant, the zodiac and house system, the ruler selected, its sign and house, planets in the 7th House, and major aspects with stated orbs. Do not write a relationship conclusion in the chart-facts fields. Keeping observation separate from inference makes it easier to catch errors and compare methods.
Next, interpret one layer at a time. The cusp sign describes the relationship style, the ruler carries the topic into another house, planets in the 7th add emphasis, and repeated patterns decide what deserves priority. The final synthesis should contain fewer claims than the notes above it, not more.
What to prepare before you start
- An accurate birth date, local birth time, and birthplace.
- A natal chart with zodiac and house system clearly labeled.
- The Descendant sign and degree, not only the Rising sign.
- The traditional ruler, plus a modern co-ruler if your method uses one.
- Major aspects with orbs, rather than an unranked list of every contact.
If you need the chart facts, start with the Birth Chart Calculator. If you already know your Rising sign, the 7th House Ruler Calculator provides a quick rulership lookup.
A quality check for the final reading
Specific
Names the ruler, house, sign, aspect, or repeated evidence behind each important statement.
Conditional
Offers plausible expressions instead of treating symbolism as proof of one outcome.
Balanced
Includes supporting evidence, contradictory evidence, and at least one real counterexample.
Useful
Ends with a behavior, question, boundary, or communication pattern that can be observed.
Method boundary
The template is designed for natal 7th House analysis. Synastry and transit work require additional charts, timing data, and separate comparison methods. Astrology is interpretive; it should not be used to establish consent, diagnose a partner, or replace medical, legal, financial, or mental-health guidance.
