Start with the cusp sign
The sign on the 7th House cusp sets the broad relationship tone, including what kind of partner traits feel attractive, balancing, or difficult to ignore.
Then check the house ruler
The ruler of the 7th House often tells you where the relationship story actually moves in real life, especially by house placement and aspects.
Look for repetition
If the 7th House meaning repeats through Venus, the Moon, Saturn, or the chart ruler, that pattern usually matters more than one isolated keyword.
1. Read the 7th House as a partnership arena first
The 7th House is not a full relationship report on its own. It is the part of the chart most connected with one-to-one partnership, alliance, negotiation, and the qualities you often seek or meet through others.
That means the first step is to understand what kind of relational field the chart is describing before making claims about marriage, compatibility, or life outcome.
